Filmmaking
From camera technique to editing, our filmmaking concentration is designed to help you cultivate the skills you'll need to succeed as a filmmaker. With hands-on exercises, technical training, and collaborative projects culminating in all-school screenings, students emerge with a college-ready portfolio of original work.
Writing
Tell your story with a concentration in screenwriting, playwriting, fiction, poetry, or songwriting. Develop your writing skills with the support of expert faculty and guest artists, and watch your work come alive in workshops and performance showcases. Here, you'll build your confidence and create original stories in a supportive environment of like-minded young writers.
Photography
Develop your unique point of view in our hands-on photography courses, covering both analog and digital photography. Build technical knowledge in our introductory courses and expand on the basics in our advanced wet-lab class and practicum. As a photography student, you'll have access to top-of-the-line equipment and facilities as you grow as a visual artist.
Media Arts
From game mechanics and audio/sound design to podcasting and virtual reality filmmaking, our media arts concentration covers modern media that prepares students for today's dynamic media landscape! The media arts curriculum is immersive and interactive, with expert instruction in industry standard tools like Unreal Engine and more.
